500 great albums. Sure. 500 greatest? Music is about how it makes us feel, so there is no objectivity. The 70s was a golden era of records, but more has changed than just music streaming. The entire personal entertainment landscape, particularly with the addition of video games, has changed.

I do agree that the digital age has devalued music in the consumer's mind.
