A classic for sure, but I meant was the Major uttering the “word” funny? Do you think it’s funny? I guess that’s the thing, what bits are still funny today?

Look, I love Monty Python, the Goodies too. But once again, the racial stereotypes haven’t aged well. Goes for a lot of 70s humour. Just ask Kamahl.

It was what it was, and we should leave it as it is. But we shouldn’t be shoving it in peoples faces, pretending it’s not offensive and telling them to get a sense of humour. By the same token, scouring the past with amplified indignation is disingenuous cultural revolution stuff.

Now, I’m off to watch the Bruces to see how I’m feeling about that these days.
