As an Aussie I have to admit two things, this is a beautiful sentence and though I've heard of Matt Corby, I've never heard his music before.

Having said that, I'm not surprised by how this sounds. I like it, especially those understated Triffid style keyboards and the way his vocals take off at just the right point. I felt the flow of lyrics was a bit clunky at points, a minor minus. 86.

Totally phobic of David Gray for reasons that probably require a novel, but having said that, listened all the way through. It was pleasant listening and kept my attention. 83.

Both deserving of further listening, ideally on a road trip (next fishing trip to the Tyenna?), as I suspect there might be some subtle hooks sitting beneath the surface.
