Because it isn’t. There is no past , no future, just the now. There are no shades of grey, just spikes of black or white. Cliches of “being present” or “living in the now” abound in contemporary culture, and while I wouldn’t say TS is responsible for this, she certainly harnesses it better than most. An artist so full of nowness there is no room for timelessness.
