Bill Murray LOL. I’m prone to rummage through the local op shop for $1 DVDs as a kind of substitute for streaming. Stripes? With 18 minutes extra footage! Ok, that’s funny, right? Well some of it still is, the parade ground scene is still a classic, but overall, not as funny as I remembered it. But what really struck me (was this the 18 minutes that had been edited out?) was how breathtakingly sexist it was, the Bill Murray character especially.
