Even if one day we all become atheists, Christmas should stay. For children, the story of a baby being born in the lowliest of circumstances being celebrated by kings is one worth hearing, regardless of the other metaspiritual and traditional aspects we have attached to it. And no, not a fan of roast turkey myself, and the 40C Christmases in Aus don't exactly suggest roasts and snow. Time to make up some new traditions.
