Ha! Very interesting. Particularly the "After multiplying both sides by 100, we get the following result:" which seems fairly compelling at first. The problem is, x has infinity decimal places, but 100*x has infinity minus two decimal places, so...

What does infinity minus two equal? Perhaps we could call this quinfinity. To all intents and purposes, quintessentially inifinite, without actually being infinity.
