Hi Douglas, This really is a worthwhile way of looking at our current dilemma. The supposed values on which our society is built aren't the problem so much the way these values are adhered to, if only the Christians would "do unto others as they would do unto you", if only the "meritocracy" was genuinely meritocratic. So once again, it will be up to art to cut through in some way. Pete Townshend did tell us 1971, "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss."
