How much of reality is accidental, intentional or merely inevitable? I think this is why I find movies like They Live and Dark City so intriguing. Whether you look up or down, “reality” has a different version of itself.

As you can imagine I’ve already read this many times, but seeing it in its final form always offers a fresh perspective. It’s like the logic of dreams, our mind knows we’re about to wake up so the dream must be brought to a conclusion, to maintain…continuity?
