I guess I’m starting to notice all the “we’re having so much more fun on Substack” articles, not surprised really. Hardly surprising that people who write unctuous articles about “focused listening” aren’t actually interested in listening to anyone. Ultimately, in the arts, particularly emerging and new works, notions of quality are very subjective and are more about control than inspiration.
