I think one pathway to this all collapsing is what I’d call post-advertising. Eg. I bought a guitar. This man buys guitars! Bombard him with ads for guitars. Bad advertising because I don’t buy a guitar every day. Now, if I have bot that then follows every guitar ad, the advertisers are paying for worthless ads. The more this happens, the more worthless the big data becomes. In terms of privacy, let it be known that I own a guitar, and l didn’t buy it online.
