I was watching the new season of Picard last night where they do in fact ride a cosmic wave to safety. As for the writers and reality, if must be tough knowing that every viewer knows Picard ain’t gonna die in episode 4.

This reminded me of when clients bring their website copy back in for review. I often read over it and go “oh, this bit’s good”

The look at me deadpan and say “that’s the bit you wrote last time”.
