I'm trying to wrap up the final episode of the Bargain Bin Feeding Frenzy, which includes two Police albums (not this one). It's not going well. I think the truth of this statement has got something to do with the problem. Certain tracks have got that placeholder feel, yet I think you might be right, such an assessment is a little churlish.

I've never been a huge Police fan, yet so many of their hits are quite brilliant. Can't Stand Losing You and Roxanne haven't dimmed over the years and now might be a good time to give this album another listen.
