While I’m somewhat of a prolific writer, quantity over quality (yay!), the same cannot be said about my publishing habits.

As I scan down my draft list I’ve noticed there’s more than a few kasey sparks inspired tomes that have yet to see the light of day. Time to do something about it.

There’s some potential classics for sure. My treatise on the male orgasm, which is coming soon, is going to be a ripper, as we say in Australia.

Lodged somewhere within the morass of my meandering mind, thanks once again to kasey, is the band Semisonic.

Holding the strong opinion that convenience is often a curse and given my aversion for streaming services I couldn’t just, you know, go and listen to some Semisonic.

No. I had to go in search of Semisonic.

Any excuse for a walk, I say, so I was off to the local library and op-shops* in search of some Semisonic.

* Op-shop or Opportunity Shop is the Australia equivalent of the Thrift Shop.

The library drew a blank. It was off to the op-shops for me.

My general rule of thumb for going in search of anything is that I usually find something else, often something I was looking for previously and had finally…
