Interesting idea, Paul. I was talking about something similar with my wife who has done a lot of artist video documentaries. One point she made is that you have to have the camera rolling from the outset. If you don’t, you never get back to that initial unvarnished version that people naturally tell first. So good advice about leaving out the embellishments.
