I've been going through the photo box over the last couple of days for various stories and it's kind of a thrill to look at an old photo and go "I remember that!". Remembering places I've been, things I've learned, dreams I've had and the people I've met along the way.

There's lots of good things in there and remembering that reminds me that I'm not as directionless as I sometimes feel.

So this year I'm going to remember that the past is something to build the present upon, not something to compare the present with.
