Not good at confrontation? Well you’ve just confronted yourself in public which is brave and quite noble, really. I for one, appreciate your kindness and courtesy even when I don’t entirely agree with you.

Following on from your excellent David Bowie article (and following some of Simon Dillon’s links) I came across an interview with Pete Townshend on YouTube recalling his friendship with David. It’s after David’s death and he recounts an act of kindness by Bowie in the sixties, at a Who concert, like it was yesterday.

Kindness sticks around in a way the rage doesn’t.
