OK, looks like Australia might be a little better. No FPTP, thank goodness. We'd be stuck with the LNP (Liberal National Party, no, not liberals, conservatives) the corporate captured, Murdoch approved lot.

In Tasmania, we have Hare-Clark which means the Greens, who typically get between 10%-20% of the vote, actually get some representation. Though the LNP will happily tell you that 20% of the population getting some representation is "undemocratic". As you say, the right wants to get rid of the level playing field at all costs.
