On paper, I think the idea is feasible. Synths can be very expressive. Yet, giving the tracks a cursory listen, Corgan can’t express himself the way he can with the guitar. I kept half expecting Paul Young to enter on vocals, like it would have sounded dated in the 90s.

There are the David Bowies and there are the AC/DCs. I guess the Pumpkins are more of the latter.
