Overall, half agree. The subjectivity comes in when some listeners prioritise technical ability over feeling, or vice versa. A lot of what passes for objectivity in art is just consensus. Everything is the Louvre is technically excellent, yet I would argue most would choose the Mona Lisa as the best because of consensus opinion, rather than what they think.
Sure, there can objectivity about the elements, a rounder circle, more precise finger picking or whatever, but as you say, art isn't just an exercise in technical execution, it's about emotion.
