Really? I thought we were run by focus groups at the local Hillsong. Seriously, though, I agree with you. I'm very tired of this government taking every action, no matter how feeble, as an opportunity to spin some electorally targeted message.

Even the Federal Court is starting to get testy with the Gov's capricious behaviour. They weren't going to let them throw him out of the country until they were convinced he'd broken a rule.

I guess they don't want to mention rules too much in case anyone remembers their adherence to "the rules".
