Someone joked on Twitter this morning that it sounds like Oasis, and to my ears, ELO came to mind. I wonderwall how either of this bands would have figured had the Beatles continued?

I think Paul Walker sums it up pretty well with “decent album track”. I think it might have neatly fitted onto the White Album, a la Julia.

I thought the piano and drums had a slight feel of “playing along” rather than “playing together”, but that’s a minor criticism.


I still really like Free As A Bird, so I think it’s a worthwhile project. 3 tracks since John’s death is hardly overdoing it.
