…the US economy

Thanks for bringing this up Sandra. As an Australian, the South Australian battery project comes to mind, which in hindsight also seems like a commercial and memetic opportunity, rather than a consolidated approach to engineering a better world. Renewable energy is certainly an essential part of a sustainable global solution, yet as an engineering enterprise I’d hardly see it as his singular brainchild. The global advocacy of renewable energy, heck, even in Australia where he’s got skin in the game is needed, yet our government remains an appalling laggard. Maybe the Australian Reserve Bank should switch to dogecoin?

BTW, the financialism of the US economy (and it’s Western acolytes such as Australia) is what is fuelling these billionaires and their fantasies and it’s why we need a new approach to money…
