Thanks Paco, Mati's work is totally mind bending. As for Miles Davis, it's the perfect cover for a record that still sounds futuristic today. As you say, an icon, even Ralph Gleason's liner notes are some of the best ever.
Definitely one to have on vinyl at "full size". I can still remember buying it a Discurio in Melbourne on a scorching hot day in 1983. The nice lady who served me packed the record into thick layers of newspaper because she was worried the record might warp in the heat. Her efforts paid off and it still gets a frequent listen to this day.
Now, must go and hunt down a copy of that Jackie McLean record. I promise not to do a Mati wall.
