That’s a bit of a coincidence. I read Terry Barr’s desert island book challenge this morning and jots down my 7 books for later. Ubik was on the list. Dick is such an imaginative writer, his short stories especially are worth a look. I recall reading some of them and realising they’d been “adapted” for Star Trek episodes. Tribbles was one of them.
