The irony of this is that you can have the first two without the need for the third. The reality is that many men have deactivated their strength and drive through their own apathy and manifested their aggression with a weapon.

That strength is now understood as not just a matter of physicality, but emotional and psychological strength, is something hard for them to grasp.

Much of this rings true for Australia also, though perhaps not quite as extreme. I might feel differently after this Saturday's election if the men-children get re-elected.
