A Plethora of Pop Tearjerker
The Soulful Quality of Random Tears
We can choose not to have a choice.
But I did choose to read Pierce McIntyre’s article and here is my response.
When our eldest was around sixteen his school friends liked to congregate at our place.
There were a few reasons for this, beyond our eldest’s charming personality.
Our place was a big restaurant with a lot of space. It also had a kitchen capable of dispatching tasty treats and there was a well-stocked drinks fridge.
I can’t recall much beyond that, except for two words that were used to describe everything.
Quality!
Everything that was good. “Do you like my new haircut?” “Quality!” This I could wrap my head around.
Random!
Everything that was bad. “Do you like xxx’s new song?” “Nah, totally random!” This I couldn’t quite get.
