There was a bit of a kerfuffle over the Dead Kennedy's "Too drunk to fuck" get banned in Melbourne in the early 80s. It made the news! Missing Link Records was raided!

Another one, which wasn't a song, but was over GNR's Appetite for Destruction album cover which featured a rather offensive Robert Williams painting. It was "successfully" banned in Canberra.

I recall a great interview with a record store owner in Canberra when the ban came into place. "I mean, the album came out years ago so I think everyone who wants a copy has already got it. Seems like a total waste of time to me."
