Well Alison, as a mainlander, I can appreciate you’ve been living through the COVID pandemic the best you can. You may not be aware that Tasmania has been living through an authenticity pandemic. As a Scot, I’m sure you can appreciate Tasmanian “Scotch” isn’t as authentic as it might like the think it is. But still, some of it is quite nice. As someone who lurches aimlessly between the serious and the absurd, every missive from your direction is always welcome. I actually read this one a few times.
